Guy Tonti President

In his role as President, Guy primarily focuses on the COO and CTO functions. He brings to Unified Brand more than 28 years of high-tech experience, most in the heart of Silicon Valley, and is a recognized thought leader in digital signage and the successful building of large scale networks.

Prior to joining Unified Brand, Guy was at Cisco Systems where his last position was director of worldwide practices for emerging technologies. Guy's teams made Cisco Services the recognized leader in successful large-scale digital signage deployments, and developed a widely used web-based digital signage advertising exchange. This role brought Guy in contact with many of the largest digital signage networks (New York Yankees and Dallas Cowboys) and the advertising world (WPP/Kinetic, Omnicom, Interpublic and Publicis); which has formed a great base for building out the Unified Brand solutions.

At Cisco Guy also had extensive international experience as the European director of sales engineering, and built the team responsible for Cisco's largest voice deployments in the Middle East and Africa. Guy's work at Cisco also meant leading teams that successfully supported customers such as American Express, Intel, WalMart and various education and municipalities.

Prior to Cisco, he was the director of data communications at Pacific Bell. He designed and set up the management teams for the first successful packet switching networks (X.25 and ATM). This work was based on Guy's selection as a technical intern at Bellcore, where he researched next generation data communication networks; and was Guy's first exposure to IP networks which led to his subsequently joining Cisco.

Guy obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Arizona State University, which led to work as a chemist for Armour Dial and McCullough Chain Saws. He then matriculated at Georgia Tech where he studied nuclear chemistry and quantum mechanics. He decided he wanted a life outside of the lab so enrolled at the University of Southern California where he obtained his MBA and started him down the path that led him to Unified Brand.

As the Creative Director of the Stephens Media Magazine Division, he won international awards for publication and advertising design.
